Biography

Mohammad Al Hariri is the Research and Development Manager at the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, leading the Foundation’s National State Academy.

His work focuses on promoting civic literacy in state-building and sustainable development through education, strategic communication, interdisciplinary dialogue, and science-policy engagement.

Mohammad holds an MSc in Strategic Urban Planning and Policy from IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Beirut Arab University.

He specializes in strategic urban planning, sustainability transitions, environmental and coastal governance, and disaster risk management. His work is grounded in theories of social capital, deliberative planning, and urban co-production.
