Biography

Ornella Nohra is the Urban Planning Coordinator at UN-Habitat Lebanon. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in urban planning. Her passion for urban planning was shaped early in her career as a Consultant Engineer with the Union of South Metn Municipalities, where she worked closely with mayors on a range of municipal projects. Since joining UN-Habitat Lebanon, she has been deeply committed to advancing livable, equitable, and resilient cities. She has contributed to and led multiple successful initiatives spanning climate-responsive urban planning, land governance, housing, land and property (HLP) rights, public spaces, and urban policy development.
